Imad Abou Nasr is the founder of Direct Business & Investment Limited (DBI), located in Erbil, Iraq, as well as the managing partner of Abou Nasr & Associates sal (AN&A sal), based in Beirut, Lebanon. Imad leads business development and strategy services for both AN&A sal and DBI accounting and advisory firms. He is an active member of the BKR International network and has over 20 years’ experience in real estate, contracting, and advisory services.
Prior to DBI Limited, Imad was the founder and managing partner of Mezzanine Interior Contracting in Beirut, Lebanon, an interior company that provided fit-out services to architects and end users. Before founding Mezzanine, Imad gained his experience as an independent contractor executing mid-size projects in Beirut, Lebanon, and as the commercial director for Brei, a Beirut-based real estate development company.
Imad has been an active member of BKR International since 2011, as well as a member of the Board of BKR International EMEA region from 2016 to 2022. Imad received his BA in Urban Studies from Concordia University, in Montreal, Canada, and his MBA in Business administration from Paris Dauphine – IAE Sorbonne, Université St. Joseph.Roger M. Sawan

Roger Sawan is the managing partner of Direct Business & Investment Limited (DBI), located in Erbil, Iraq, and part of the BKR International network. With a broad background in accounting, auditing, and finance, Roger’s experience includes financial, forensic, compliance and performance audit under IFRS/ISA, ISRS4400, INTOSAI, etc, in addition to project and organizational audit.
Roger grew extensive experience in company’s valuation, setting up and restricting accounting departments in addition to consultancy and advisory.
As principal of DBI Limited, Roger delivers highly effective audit engagements and strategies to international clients, with a focus on International Non-Governmental Organizations and EMEA oil and gas companies.
Prior to DBI Limited, Roger was the accounting manager for ProFacto SAL in Lebanon, where he was responsible for various accounting duties such as Payables, Receivables, Expenses, Assets, Cash, Banks, Sales Analysis etc in addition but not limited to payroll processing and corporate tax declaration and internal control.
Before joining Profacto, Roger was the accounting and finance manager at the Gulf Catering Company, in Chad, where he was responsible for accounting duties, financial statements reporting and internal control, Roger gained most of his formative experience as an auditor for Baker Tilly International in Beirut, Lebanon, where he developed his accounting and auditing skills, including auditing and preparation of financial statements for various types of companies, tax and internal control.
Roger received his BS degree in Accounting Management from the American University of Culture and Education (AUCE) and Chartered Accountant Diploma. -
